Job summary

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.

• Experience evaluating bid proposals.
• Experience designing process-improvement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Completes the bid package process to select competitive bids and vendors.
• Requests and evaluates bids and proposals to recommend contract awards.
• Develops project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Investigates mechanical breakdown problems to maintain productivity.
• Identifies opportunities for construction process improvement and design solutions.
• Evaluates budget performance and negotiates with vendors to manage scope.
• Maintains cost logs, processes invoices, and releases funds to contractors.
• Conducts construction inspections to ensure UPS standards and timely completion.
