Job summary

CANUSA EPC LLC in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Project Engineer III to support upstream and midstream oil & gas projects from early definition through execution. This hands-on role requires understanding how facilities are designed, fabricated, constructed, and commissioned, not just paper concepts.

You will coordinate with clients and vendors, mentor junior engineers, and own project scope, schedule, and cost. Periodic site travel is required as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in upstream or midstream oil & gas projects with EPC/EPCM exposure.
• Hands-on engineering and project execution experience beyond paper design.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering work and field activities.
• Familiarity with greenfield and brownfield facility execution.
• Experience with vendor drawings, submittals, and data books.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute upstream and midstream oil & gas projects from definition through delivery.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Coordinate deliverables across process, piping, mechanical, electrical, civil, and automation disciplines.
• Lead project and technical coordination meetings with clients and vendors.
• Mentor junior engineers and support field execution, inspections, and commissioning.
• Support proposals and new business pursuits.
