Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to join our Advanced Facilities team in supporting complex construction projects, including data center and manufacturing sites. You will participate in safety programs, QA/QC, estimates, scheduling, and field QA/QC activities on live projects.

You will work with project teams on procurement, documentation, and progress reporting, while developing lean practices and self-perform opportunities to optimize productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction experience and willingness to travel/relocate.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and culture on site.
• Supports estimates, schedules, work plans, daily logs and QA/QC.
• Pre-plans crew activities and contributes to look-ahead schedules.
• Manages project documentation, meetings, and reporting.
• Assists with project setup in CMiC and administration tasks.
• Supports subcontractor management and cost control processes.
• Provides progress updates to support scheduling and project closeout.
