Job summary

ISEC, Inc. in South San Francisco is seeking a Project Engineer II to assist the Project Manager with administrative duties, submittals, and labor scheduling on landmark construction projects from our Oyster Point office.

Reporting to the Operations Manager/Project Manager, you will coordinate with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors, maintain project documentation, and help ensure quality and timely delivery while supporting a growing, employee‑owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in project engineering or construction.
• Experience with submittals, change orders, and shop drawings.
• Ability to coordinate with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Strong attention to schedule, cost, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with project administration and documentation.
• Develop, prepare, and finalize project schedules.
• Procure and submit all submittal information and manage approvals.
• Assist with administration of subcontract requirements and change orders.
• Coordinate communications with owners, general contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures per contract documents.
