Job summary

Xylem Water Solutions Netherlands in Massachusetts (Tewksbury) seeks a Project Engineer II – Electrical & Mechanical Systems. You will lead technical execution of engineered-to-order projects from post-order handoff through design, manufacturing, FAT, startup readiness, and project closeout.

Join a multidisciplinary team across Sales, Applications Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in project engineering, design, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with engineered-to-order equipment or packaged systems is preferred.
• Experience reading P&IDs, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, safety, and product compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating with global teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution for assigned projects, coordinating mechanical, electrical, controls, and system integration.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering deliverables, milestones, and decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and partners to manage scope, schedule, and risk.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing, FAT, and startup.
• Support site readiness, commissioning, and transition to Field Service.
• Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement across drawings, BOMs, and procedures.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance in all activities.
