Job summary

Fransenpittman is seeking an Intern Project Engineer in Englewood, CO. You will support the Operations team by coordinating needs and resolving conflicts among architects and subcontractors to keep projects on track.

The role requires current enrollment in construction management and proficiency with MS Office; Revit/Revizto knowledge is a plus. On-the-job training and a collaborative culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college accredited construction management program.
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel; Bluebeam; Revit/Revizto knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand all project documents (plans, specs, etc).
• Strong communication with all levels and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; OSHA 30-hour is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate needs and resolve conflicts with trade partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Review submittals before sending to Architect for final approval.
• Generate RFIs to the design team.
• Distribute the most up-to-date plans and specs to all subcontractors.
• Assist with obtaining permits before project start.
• Create and distribute punch lists to subcontractors for timely completion.
• Compile owner and operations manuals and warranties from subcontractors.
• Gather Revit and Navisworks files for import into Revizto.
• Assist with developing the Project QA/QC plan.
• Maintain project documentation and files.
