Job summary

TRICO Companies, LLC is seeking an experienced full-time Project Engineer I to join our team in Burlington, Washington. The role supports project coordination, estimation, and procurement tasks while working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to keep work organized and on schedule.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assist with submittals, RFIs, invoicing, and basic accounting coordination, contributing to project performance and TRICO's profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in construction management, engineering, project management, accounting, or information technology.
• At least 12 months of experience in a fast-paced project management support role.

Responsibilities

• Support project workflow and day-to-day coordination with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, meeting decisions, punch lists and closeout activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, look ahead planning and progress tracking.
• Assist with bid packages, subcontractor outreach, quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Draft owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders under supervision.
• Support safety documentation and incident reporting.
• Provide regular feedback in WorkStory for team development.
