Job summary

TRICO Companies, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer I to join our Burlington, WA team. This role supports project coordination, scheduling, estimating, and contract tracking on commercial and industrial builds.

You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents to maintain files, process submittals, RFIs, and procurement activities while contributing to safety and overall project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in construction management, engineering, project management, accounting, or information technology.
• At least 12 months of experience in a fast-paced project management support position.
• Willingness to learn new processes and technology.
• Excellent communication with internal and external project partners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support project workflow and day to day coordination alongside Project Managers and Superintendents, keeping project files complete and organized.
• Assist with tracking RFIs and submittals, documenting meeting decisions and action items, and supporting punch list and closeout activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, look ahead planning, and progress tracking.
• Assist with bid packages, subcontractor outreach, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimate preparation.
• Assist with drafting owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders; support cost tracking and invoicing.
