Job summary

Los Angeles Community College District PMO seeks a qualified professional to manage capital construction projects under the BuildLACCD Bond Program. The role focuses on planning, design, construction, commissioning, and related project management functions, excluding routine M&O tasks.

You will provide technical support to PMs/CMs, coordinate with architects, maintain plans and specs, and ensure compliance with project requirements and DSA rules. Strong BIM/LEED experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in project or construction management of commercial and/or public or educational facility construction projects over $15M.
• BS/BA degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to the Project Managers and Construction Managers.
• Coordinate with Architect for timely and accurate responses to RFIs.
• Maintain current contract plans and specifications.
• Confirm contractor's maintenance of record drawings prior to monthly progress payments.
• Perform field checks on construction to determine compliance with plans, standards, and DSA requirements.
• Document progress of projects with reports, photographs and notes.
