Job summary

Southland Industries, based in Philadelphia, seeks a project coordinator to support the project team on smaller, less complex projects and assist a project manager in coordinating engineering, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and subcontracted services.

You will help maximize team effectiveness, support construction activities, estimate changes, manage change orders, assemble submittals, and assist with procurement.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in related field, or applicable experience.
  • Up to 3 years’ experience.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, and water systems.
  • Basic ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports.
  • Ability to read design drawings and keep track of work progress.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel and Microsoft Projects.
