Primoris Heavy Civil in Laredo, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project management team on highway and infrastructure projects. You will assist with scheduling, cost tracking, document control, and subcontractor coordination to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, conduct site visits, help with procurement, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
• Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in scheduling, cost tracking, and quality control.
• Prepare and review project documentation (submittals, RFIs, change orders, progress reports).
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety compliance.
• Support procurement with vendor selection, material requisitions, and deliveries.
• Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues.
• Participate in project meetings, taking minutes and tracking action items.
• Assist with development and implementation of project schedules and critical path activities.
• Contribute to closeout documents, including as-builts and operation manuals.
• Support safety program implementation on site.
