Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Engineer for its heavy civil highway and bridge projects. You will own engineering and project controls, coordinate with field teams, and support the PM and Superintendent on daily needs.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of civil construction experience in office and field
• Experience reviewing contracts and specifications
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• FDOT project experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review the contract and specifications in their entirety
• Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent on day-to-day project needs
• Prepare and update the project schedule in Primavera P6
• Track quantities, project costs and forecasting
• Get pricing from subcontractors and vendors, including change orders
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and crews to resolve field conflicts
• Support monthly billing, cash flow projections and change order processing
• Run document control for submittals, contract documents and record drawings
• Review HeavyJob daily reports for accuracy
• Keep NPDES permits, the SWPPP, inspections, survey staking and joint measurements with the owner on track
