Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction in Spur, TX is seeking Project Engineers to join a focused, collaborative team delivering infrastructure projects nationwide.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management with 3+ years of field experience. Familiarity with Viewpoint and scheduling software is a plus, and you should be a strong communicator who can lead through influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• 2+ years of civil construction experience; 3+ years hands-on in the field.
• Solid understanding of field operations, construction practices, and project workflows.
• Familiarity with Viewpoint and scheduling software (a plus!).
• Strong communicator and relationship-builder who can lead through influence.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage project costs, forecasts, and reports.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, invoices, and contract documentation.
• Support procurement, scheduling, and project startup/closeout.
• Assist with safety, quality, and risk management.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Support Project Manager in day-to-day operations.
