Job summary

Murray Company seeks a full-time commercial construction Project Engineer for our Des Moines, IA or St. Louis, MO office. The Project Engineer position is a post-graduate entry level program.

During your 3–4-year program you will complete 24 learning modules designed to teach all aspects of commercial construction management. You will collaborate with colleagues across all departments, who will become trusted partners as you lead future projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
• 2–3 years industry-related experience, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel across IA, KS, MO, NE and IL up to 6–8 hours from home.

Responsibilities

• Assist field operations with scheduling and quality checks.
• Process change orders and review submittals and RFIs.
• Monitor job site safety and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Lead meetings and support the superintendent and project manager.
• Learn how to manage commercial construction projects.
