Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers with day-to-day tasks such as bidding, scheduling, contracts, billing, and collections. The role involves assisting with safety, take-offs, and specifications, plus collaboration with Operations and Scheduling across multiple sites in the Midwest.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong verbal and written communication, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, vocational training, certification from an accredited organization or combination of schooling and relevant work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, consulting, conflict management, and interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs with bidding, scheduling, contracts, billing and collection, etc.
• Support daily tasks including safety, take-offs, bidding, and scheduling.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with Operations, Scheduling, and Manufacturing/Technical Services.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are addressed in a timely fashion.
• Handle contracts and negotiation, and contribute to project specifications.
