Job summary

Walbec Group seeks a Project Engineer to support Project Managers with bidding, scheduling, contracts, and billing. The role involves take-offs, subcontractor coordination, and attendance at project meetings across transportation and site projects.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s or relevant certification, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a valid driver’s license. This on-site position offers exposure to pre-construction, scheduling and operations within a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, vocational training, certification from an accredited organization or combination of schooling and relevant work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication, consulting, conflict management, and interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Project Managers with bidding, scheduling, contracts, billing and collection
• Take-offs, bidding building (grading, paving, milling, subcontractors) and scheduling
• Attend project meetings (pre-construction, pre-pave, scheduling)
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are addressed in a timely fashion
• Collaborate with Operations, PMs, Scheduling and Manufacturing/Technical Services
