Job summary

Jacobsen Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our award-winning, employee-owned team in Phoenix, AZ. You will develop understanding of contract documents, monitor site activity, manage document control, and assist in cost control and scheduling with the project team.

Qualifications

• Four-year Construction Management or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in construction and/or engineering industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops full understanding of the scope and interdependence of all contract documents.
• Observes and records jobsite activity following contract requirements.
• Manages document control to ensure work complies with contract documents.
• Assists project manager with cost control and scheduling.
• Coordinates meetings and follows up on action items.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed on site.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or technical field
