B&I Contractors, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on commercial mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects. You will gain hands-on experience and develop toward becoming a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented approach with collaborative work style.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to project sites if required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM to manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Interface with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Prepare submittals, shop drawings, RFIs with PM.
• Support field teams to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Attend weekly staff and project management meetings.
• Coordinate between trades and other departments.
• Document punch lists and assist with change orders.
• Conduct site visits to assess productivity and safety.
• Provide technical assistance and draw interpretation.
