B&I Contractors, Inc. in Florida seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee mechanical and plumbing construction from bid to client acceptance. You will lead the total construction effort, coordinate with clients, departments and subcontractors, manage submittals, and maintain project cash flow while mentoring junior engineers.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and value delivery within an owner-employee owned organization.

Formación

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent with construction/engineering experience.
• Eight+ years of construction management, estimating, or trade supervision in commercial mechanical/plumbing.
• Healthcare or large hospital experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, budgeting and safety.

Responsabilidades

• Lead construction effort to meet design specs, budget, schedule and core values.
• Interface with clients, B&I departments, subcontractors, vendors, and trades.
• Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and manuals with project schedule.
• Establish job cost breakdowns and schedule of values to ensure positive cash flow.
• Conduct weekly on-site inspections to verify productivity and performance.
• Mentor Project Engineers to grow into Project Manager roles.
