Job description

Overview

This req is for current Construction Management students looking for full time work in December 2025-2026. The Project Engineer/Field will assist with the management of the project under the supervision of the Project Manager and/or Superintendent, to ensure that the project is safe, within budget, on schedule, in compliance with the company’s quality standards and to the customer’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the monthly CPM schedule updates and narratives.


• Reviewing and processing submittals to achieve the project schedule in accordance with the contract documents.


• Maintain a complete and current record of submittals, approvals, and re-submittals summarized in the “Submittal Log.”


• Expediting the material deliveries of subcontractors and vendors in accordance with the CPM schedule and coordinated with the Project Team.


• Material Receiving – Ensure that material is properly inspected for quantity and quality and is in conformance with contract documents and approved submittals.


• Management of the RFI Process and ensuring drawings are posted and up to date.


• Assist in subcontractor preconstruction meetings.


• Safety Planning and Performance – Actively engaged in the SOS Program.


• Participation in the S&P Quality Control Program.


• Cost Control – Manage specific budgets within the cost control.


• Accumulate all necessary data for monthly owner and subcontractor pay applications, as assigned.


• Assist with management of field initiated purchasing.


• Assist with production analysis studies.


• Closing out the project in accordance with the contract documents and company policy.


• Assist in change management process.


• Regular worksite attendance required.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• B.A. or B.S. in Construction Management.
