Job summary

Perini Management Services, Inc. (PMSI) in Augusta, GA seeks a Project Engineer to join our federal construction team. You will collaborate with architects and engineers through all phases, supporting design-build and design-bid-build projects.

Responsibilities include developing budgets, timelines, procurement plans, reviewing design docs for constructability, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Construction Management degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Procore.
• Willing to travel and relocate near the project location.
• Experience on US Federal Construction Projects preferred (USACE/NAVFAC).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers across all phases of construction.
• Develop project budgets, timelines, and procurement plans.
• Review design documents for constructability and distribute to clients.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule with monthly updates.
• Process change orders and manage scope changes between client, subs and designers.
• Assist in securing vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor costs and assist with budget management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate with owner and security for base access and clearances.
• Document meetings, track actions, and manage submittals and RFIs.
