Job summary

MMR Group, Inc. based in Hubbard, TX, is seeking a Project Engineer to manage project engineering workflows including RFIs, submittals, document control, design clarifications, material procurement support, scope tracking, installation work packages, and coordination with construction and quality teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field teams, tracking changes, supporting turnover, and generating weekly and monthly status reports; candidates should have a BS in Construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction is required.
• Industrial construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and purchasing.
• Ability to read electrical drawing packages and specifications.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
• Ability to read CPM schedules and identify critical paths.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications.
• Maintain document control and tracking logs.
• Support procurement and material expediting.
• Coordinate drawing revisions and engineering communications.
• Track scope changes and assist with change documentation.
• Support turnover and closeout documentation.
• Build and maintain installation work packages.
• Coordinate with construction, quality, and safety to generate weekly/monthly status and financial reports.
• Ensure Field Engineers perform installation audits and tracking updates for client reporting.
• Assist Superintendents, Procurement, and Logistics with BOM for installation work packages.
• Assist Assistant Project Managers with design revisions and change management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
