Job summary

magniX is seeking a driven Project Engineer to manage scope, deliverables, resources, and schedules for cutting-edge programs in Everett, WA. You will interface with internal and external stakeholders and drive projects from initiation through delivery.

The role emphasizes detailed planning, budget control, and risk management in a manufacturing environment, with opportunities to advance in a technology-forward company focused on electric aviation and aerospace solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or Program Manager.
Experience with battery and/or electric motor product development is preferred.
PMP Certification (preferred).
Highly proficient with MS Project and Project Online Server.
Understanding of aerospace systems development process.
Excellent program/project management skills and experience managing subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Have full responsibility and accountability for the project deliverables and outcomes.
Organize and lead project activities and IPT meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
Develop a detailed project plan, budget, and task management to achieve task order objectives.
Perform detailed project tracking and escalate issues with urgency.
Identify variances to plan and formulate actions to keep milestones on track.
Interface with cross functional teams across the company.
Communicate status updates on project progress to management and team members.
Perform risk management and facilitate decision making and prioritization.
Own and maintain the product BOM and coordinate design changes across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to align with production requirements.
