Job summary

CPH in Miami, FL seeks a Project Engineer (EIT) to lead design, development and implementation of civil projects. Open to EIT-level candidates and recent grads with strong AutoCAD/Civil3D, stormwater, and land development experience.

You will prepare plans, specifications, and calculations, monitor progress, and coordinate with senior staff to mitigate risks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related focus.
• EIT highly desired and/or ability to quickly acquire post start.
• Entry-level or junior candidates eligible.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles specific to retail projects would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion.
• Leading design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations.
• Work with senior staff to identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed.
• Ensures that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Prepares and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper managements and clients.
• This role will work under the supervision of a licensed PE supporting a number of deliverables for our clients and ensuring quality is a primary focus at all phases of project execution from concept to final delivery.
