Job summary

CPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm seeking a Project Engineer (EIT/junior level) to join their team in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on new project delivery with strong CAD skills and collaboration with senior staff.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and a desire to quickly obtain EIT certification. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT is highly desired or ability to quickly acquire post-start.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles for retail projects.
• Experience with retail project design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specs, and documentation.
• Monitor progress and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Lead design and preparation of plans, specs, and calculations.
• Identify project risks and develop modification strategies.
• Ensure safety compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate status to management.
