Job summary

CPH in Tampa, FL is seeking a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our Community Development team. This position supports the Civil/Municipal department with project design and development responsibilities.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, preparing drawings and specifications, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with standards, evaluating proposals, and delivering progress reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with site design projects; experience with municipal projects is a plus
• EI/EIT Certification required

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of project plans, including the scope of work, timeframe, and budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.
• Ensure the design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of proposals.
• Ensure the projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and/or present progress reports, including updates on project status.
• Design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting, and drawings.
