Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Louisiana team. Based in St. James or Norco, you’ll assess job sites, draft lift plans in CAD, and determine crane/rigging configurations alongside clients and field crews.

Qualified candidates have a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent, strong MS Office skills, and 3 years crane/rigging planning experience, with refinery exposure preferred. AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• 3 years planning cranes/rigging preferred.
• Experience in refineries/chemical plants preferred.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to assess scope and review with client.
• Use CAD to draw crane, matting, rigging, load, and site.
• Determine crane size, type, and configuration.
• Determine rigging size, type and capacity.
• Determine matting to meet ground bearing requirements.
• Assemble lift plan packets with details and drawings.
• Review lift plan with client and field personnel.
• Relay costs and pricing to sales and/or operations teams.
