Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. in Louisiana seeks a skilled crane operator to ensure safe lifting and set-up of cranes on job sites. You will read load charts, interpret hand signals, and follow state and federal safety rules while maintaining customer focus.

The role requires NCCCO TSS and TLL certification and at least three years of hydraulic crane experience, with responsibilities including equipment inspection, daily field tickets, and safe completion of lifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a current crane operating license (NCCCO- TSS & TLL).
• 3 or more years of operating hydraulic cranes required.
• Ability to operate crane by viewing hand signals.

Responsibilities

• At the end of the shift reviews next day's job assignments and ensures rigging and equipment are ready.
• Completes Field Tickets and submits to the local branch office; records any chargeable equipment.
• Performs daily payroll book entries for hours worked and reports to the local branch by 10:00 a.m. Monday.
• Inspects equipment, maintains cleanliness, and performs routine maintenance when not on a job.
• Reads and interprets load charts and programs the crane for safe set-up on location.
• Ensures the signal person understands proper hand signals before lifting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
