Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This role includes assisting in project management tasks such as updating schedules and stakeholder communication. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management or a related field, plus at least 2 years of experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the construction industry as a Project Engineer or in a comparable position.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS Heavy Job and JD Edwards accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in updating the project schedule.
• Handle project public relations and stakeholder outreach.
• Analyze project plans and ensure compliance with specifications.
