Job summary

Graycor is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Engineering Mentoring Program in the Phoenix area. The program provides hands-on experience, one-on-one coaching, and a full rotation between departments to build a strong foundation for a successful construction career.

Project Engineers will engage in project management, estimating, and preconstruction activities, with opportunities to work on diverse portfolios such as retail, hospitality, office, logistics, and green building projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or other relevant technical discipline.
• 0-3 years of relevant construction internship or post-undergraduate experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively and reside at project site for extended periods.
• Ambition to grow professionally and contribute to a variety of project types.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in project control, safety, and quality programs on site.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with critical path and look‑ahead planning; apply Lean Construction techniques.
• Maintain project documentation and coordinate with Owner, Architect, and Engineers for approvals.
• Assist in procurement of equipment and materials and track delivery.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor performance and interface on technical/contractual matters.
