Job summary
A prominent construction firm in Portland, Oregon is seeking highly skilled Project Engineers to play a key role in our construction project teams. Responsibilities include maintaining RFIs, organizing project files, and providing technical assistance. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a preference for a four-year degree in a related field. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of construction principles and relevant software is highly desired.
Qualifications
A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
Ability to climb ladders/stairs.
Working knowledge of wood frame and commercial construction preferred.
Responsibilities
Maintain, initialize, and track Requests for Information (RFI’s).
Organize and maintain product submittals and samples.
Review project plans and drawings.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of MS Project
Experience with Bluebeam and AutoDesk
Problem-solving capacity

Education
