Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project teams on commercial construction sites.

You will learn Ryan processes, assist with RFIs, shop drawings, and quality plans, and work from a construction site for six months or the project duration. Candidates with internships in commercial construction and familiarity with estimating, take-off software, and scheduling are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, construction management, or related field (or an associate degree with at least 2 years industry experience).
• Solid foundation in estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Experience interfacing with diverse teams and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team with RFIs, documentation, and maintaining RFIs/ASIs.
• Monitor shop drawing log and coordinate approvals.
• Contribute to Project Specific Quality Plan and safety procedures.
• Help coordinate vendor and subcontractor deliveries and site logistics.
• Participate in permit inspections and punchlist items.
• Prepare meeting agendas/minutes and support project scheduling.
• Support procurement and estimating processes including take-offs.
