Job summary

Willmeng Construction is seeking a Project Engineer in Phoenix to assist the Project Manager in achieving project goals, delivering a quality product and maintaining safety with minimal risk. You will work in a hands-on, team-focused environment from startup through closeout.

The role requires 3–5 years of construction engineering experience, a relevant engineering degree, and proficiency in Procore and MS Office. HVAC experience and reliable transportation are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Construction Engineering preferred; alternative: BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of construction engineering experience.
• Mechanical experience with HVAC systems.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative work style.
• Proficient with Procore and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in achieving financial and schedule goals.
• Support billing process with Project Manager.
• Assist superintendent with RFIs, submittals, and coordination.
• Coordinate project close-out documents, manuals, and warranties.
• Manage document control for RFIs, submittals, permits, drawings, and reports.
