Job summary

Concrete Strategies LLC. is seeking a proactive project support professional to assist in setup, cost estimation familiarity, and on-site daily activities. You will track materials, equipment, and manpower productivity while supporting invoice approvals and project cost reporting.

The role requires 2-5 years experience, a construction management or engineering background, and a proactive, results-driven mindset to help deliver projects safely and efficiently on-site.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in construction or project coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • General knowledge of construction principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project safety compliance.
  • Assist with job cost spread, estimates, and reporting.
  • Participate in project sequencing and scheduling.
  • Conduct production analysis and tracking.
  • Support project cost reporting and budget control.
  • Process invoice coding and approvals.
  • Issue and track change orders.
  • Coordinate with GC/Owner and CSI Operations manager on manpower and resources.

Job description

This position serves as support for operations on the jobs in which they are involved. Responsibilities range from participation in initial project set up and buyout, cost spread/estimate familiarity, job quantity tracking, on-site daily activity involvement, concrete material tracking, equipment and manpower productivity tracking, invoice approval, extra work ticket tracking, participation in job cost reporting, project safety compliance, quality control compliance, production analysis/tracking

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Project safety compliance
  • Job cost spread and estimate familiarity

Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or Engineer recommended.
  • Basic/General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
  • Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
