Job summary

Concrete Strategies LLC. is seeking an organized professional to support operations on construction projects in Phoenix.

You will assist with initial project setup, cost estimates, scheduling, production tracking, safety and quality compliance, and invoicing processes to support successful project delivery. The role requires 2–5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or an engineering degree is recommended.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering is preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction project cost control or estimating.
  • Basic knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with urgency and flexibility.
  • Self‑starter who works well in a team and on own.
  • Ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, and navigate multi‑floor scaffolding.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure project safety compliance and quality control.
  • Manage job cost spread, estimates, and reporting.
  • Support project sequencing, scheduling, and production tracking.
  • Code approvals, change orders, and invoice coordination.
  • Coordinate with GC/Owner and CSI Operations on manpower/resources.

Job description

This position serves as support for operations on the jobs in which they are involved. Responsibilities range from participation in initial project set up and buyout, cost spread/estimate familiarity, job quantity tracking, on-site daily activity involvement, concrete material tracking, equipment and manpower productivity tracking, invoice approval, extra work ticket tracking, participation in job cost reporting, project safety compliance, quality control compliance, production analysis/tracking

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Project safety compliance
  • Job cost spread and estimate familiarity
  • Participation in project sequencing and scheduling

  • Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or Engineer recommended.
  • Basic/General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
  • Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
