RK Industries, LLC in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on coordinating people, materials, and schedules to deliver complex mechanical construction projects, with exposure to industrial, healthcare, data center, and semiconductor sectors.

You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients to manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation while supporting field execution and commissioning activities.

Formación

• 1+ Years of Mechanical Project Engineering Experience.
• Experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, MEP Coordinator, Mechanical Coordinator, or similar construction-focused role.
• Experience supporting HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, process piping, controls, fire protection, or commissioning activities.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, procurement, scheduling, change orders, and project controls.
• Experience supporting industrial, healthcare, data center, semiconductor, mission-critical, or complex commercial construction projects.
• Ability to coordinate field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360), Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, as-builts, and project documentation.
• Coordinate procurement activities including equipment tracking, vendor communication, and long-lead material management.
• Support project schedules through look-ahead planning, milestone tracking, and coordination of project activities.
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and clients to support successful project execution.
• Assist with change orders, cost tracking, forecasting, buyout activities, and subcontract administration.
• Participate in site walks, QA/QC inspections, commissioning support, turnover, and project closeout activities.
• Help coordinate the installation and execution of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, process piping, and utility systems.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
