Job summary

JTM Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to provide critical support to the Project Manager and Superintendent on complex commercial construction projects in the Seattle area. The role spans from estimation through project closeout, with travel as needed.

You will work in a team environment, maintaining schedules, submittals, and project records while ensuring safety and quality. Applicants should have a BS in CM/Engineering/Architecture and experience with a commercial GC.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CM, engineering, or architecture is required.
• Experience with a commercial general contractor is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and provide estimate support.
• Manage project submittals and material delivery schedules.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals against design requirements.
• Prepare meeting minutes and maintain project records.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and trade partners.
• Support overall project safety and contribute to committees.
