W.G. Clark Construction is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Seattle team. You will support the Project Manager and Superintendent, coordinate with design professionals and owners, and help manage submittals, RFI responses, change orders and project documentation.

The role emphasizes strong organization, planning, and communication skills to keep projects on schedule and within budget on diverse commercial projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Formación

• 2–3 years of commercial construction experience in a Project Engineer role or internship.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM, CE, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plans, specs and contract documents.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in day-to-day activities.
• Assist with project administration, documentation, and reporting.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, ASIs, change orders, and project correspondence.
• Review plans, specs, and contract documents for accuracy.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, buyout, and scope review.
• Track project costs, schedules, and commitments.
• Participate in project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subs.
• Coordinate with field operations to meet project requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues before cost or schedule impact.
• Assist with monthly billings, pay applications, and project closeout.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and partners.
