Job summary

Tiello is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects in the Greater St. Louis area. You will gain hands-on experience across preconstruction, estimating, scheduling, cost forecasting, RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and closeout.

This is an early-career opportunity designed to build a well-rounded foundation and develop toward a Project Manager role through direct collaboration with PMs, superintendents, and leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
Experience with estimating, scheduling, and project cost forecasting is beneficial.
Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Assist with quantity takeoffs and estimating activities.
Review drawings, specifications, and takeoff information to support cost planning.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors.
Prepare monthly project status reports and assist with change-order management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field preferred
