Job summary

gpac LLC. seeks a Project Engineer in the South Bay/San Jose area to bridge field operations, project management, and design teams. Gain hands-on construction exposure while keeping projects organized and moving toward completion.

You will coordinate submittals, review plans, and support progress tracking, safety, and quality. Ideal candidates have 0–5 years of construction experience and familiarity with Procore/Bluebeam/Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years construction experience preferred (internships ok).
• Education in CM, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
• Commercial or multifamily construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, drawing updates, and project records.
• Review plans and identify discrepancies before they affect fieldwork.
• Participate in site walks and support progress tracking, safety, and quality documentation.
• Assist with subcontractor scope reviews, purchasing, deliveries, and scheduling.
• Support change orders, payment applications, and cost reporting.
• Help complete punch lists, inspections, and turnover documents.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, drawing updates, and project records.
• Review plans and identify discrepancies before they affect fieldwork.

Your Background

• 0 - 5 years of relevant construction experience, including internships.

• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools.
