Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC, a fast-growing civil construction leader, seeks a Project Engineer to oversee planning and field coordination on major site development projects. You will work with field managers, ensure on-time delivery, and manage material procurement while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a B.S. in a related field, strong organizational and leadership abilities, proficiency with Office, Bluebeam and Excel, and OSHA 10/30 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field is required
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use Office, Bluebeam and Excel for collaboration and tracking
• Excellent time management and analytical capabilities
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills
• OSHA 10/30 certification is required
• At least 1 year of construction management experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead regular meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify requirements and review progress
• Maintain project budgets, track costs, and adjust forecasts as field conditions change
• Monitor schedule milestones, production rates, and quality metrics against goals
• Prepare project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Coordinate with field personnel to ensure alignment between plans and execution
• Manage material procurement and delivery schedules to meet specs
• Support scheduling by updating timelines and identifying critical path activities
• Uphold safety standards and participate in site safety meetings
• Review construction drawings and communicate changes to field teams
• Resolve project issues by coordinating with management and field leadership
• Visit sites to verify progress and ensure work aligns with plans
