Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of civil land development projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include preparing design reports and analyses, performing code searches, creating contract documents, and providing construction services such as site visits and shop drawing review.

You will work with the project team to prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required.
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience on land/site development projects.
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design reports and analyses and perform code searches.
• Create contract documents and provide construction services (site visits, shop drawing review).
• Work with project team to prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, Stormwater Management Design).
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate each phase of the project.
• Review local, county, state, and federal project codes; coordinate with consultants and clients to finalize contract documents.
