Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of civil land development projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include preparing design reports and analyses, performing code searches, creating contract documents, and providing construction services such as site visits and shop drawing review.

You will work with the project team to prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required.
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience on land/site development projects.
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design reports and analyses and perform code searches.

Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer at Ware Malcomb, you will support the delivery of innovative commercial and residential land development projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include preparing design reports and analyses, performing code searches, creating contract documents, and providing construction services such as site visits and shop drawing review.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design) for use in permitting and construction.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate each of the phases of the project.
• Provide construction services, prepare stormwater calculations, and assist in completing permits.
• Review local, county, state, and federal project codes for each project.
• Coordinate with Ware Malcomb consultants and client consultants to achieve a complete, coordinated set of contract documents and specifications for permit and construction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within the Civil Engineering field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required.
• A PE (Professional Engineering) license is preferred.
• Experience working on land/site development projects.
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
