Job summary

ARM Group is seeking a Project Engineer to manage planning, design, permitting, and construction oversight for multi-disciplinary projects including non-coal mining and quarry ventures. The role emphasizes ownership mentality, strong organization, and collaboration to meet budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities include on-site regulatory interfacing, client communication, engineering calculations, and QA/QC of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have an E.I.T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• E.I.T. Certificate required, P.E. License preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience including post-construction stormwater design and permitting for non-coal mining/quarry projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Coordinate development, design and permitting of multiple projects.
• Assess and mitigate project risks.
• Perform and check technical calculations.
• Develop solutions for permitting, design, and construction challenges.
• Provide technical support for projects.
• Research regulations and codes to ensure compliance.
• Prepare reports, permit applications, and related documents.
• Observe and document field work and analyze issues.
• Collaborate with team to meet deliverables and learn.
• Communicate with stakeholders including clients and managers.
• Identify non-routine conditions and develop solutions with guidance.
