Position Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will assist the project team with administration and documentation, supporting the oversight of trades on various projects.

Assigned Responsibilities

• Represent and demonstrate F.H. Paschen’s values: tenacity, versatility, ingenuity, and pride.
• Participate in preconstruction services, including estimating and value engineering.
• Track material procurement and coordinate deliveries.
• Create project schedules with site superintendents.
• Review submittals for suitability.
• Quote and qualify subcontractor change requests.
• Track change orders and Requests for Information.
• Manage as-builts and close-out documents.
• Assist with field supervision and blueprint reading.
• Perform quantity take-offs and subcontractor solicitations.
• Handle correspondence and document control.
• Coordinate subcontractors and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 1-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with construction technology such as Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
• Strong communication skills.
