Job summary

Boccard Life Sciences, a global provider of process solutions, seeks a Project Engineer (CEP) based in Salt Lake City to develop and implement cost-efficient manufacturing processes meeting GMP, safety, and customer specs.

Responsibilities include coordinating P&ID based equipment lists, performing heat and mass balance calculations, and preparing bid packages for installation while guiding contractors to meet budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in relevant engineering field with 2–3 years of experience or CEP.
• Proficiency in English for regular client communication across the US and Canada.
• Experience with heat and mass balances and pump/piping sizing.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
• Ability to work independently and in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
• Establish equipment list from validated P&ID.
• Perform sizing calculations for liquid processing projects in Food, Dairy, Beverage, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical or Brewery markets.
• Develop associated specifications and assist RFQ process for supplier comparison.
• Manage PO requisition and support supply chain in supplier follow up.
• Support Project Managers, Site Managers and Engineering Manager in design reviews.
• Prepare technical bid packages for installation based on drawings and codes.
• Coordinate between contractors onsite and customer representatives.
