Job summary

GBA in Broomfield, CO, seeks a Process Engineer I to support design, development, and implementation of process and clean utility systems for life sciences manufacturing facilities. The role covers equipment sizing, mass balance calculations, and CQV support within a collaborative team.

You will create PFDs/P&IDs, generate AutoCAD/Revit/Plant3D drawings, and assist with field investigations and technical documentation. A chemical engineering degree with FE exam preference is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field with 0+ years of experience.
• FE exam passed or attempted is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specs, and piping layouts.
• Create AutoCAD/Revit/Plant3D drawings from templates and update models.
• Perform sizing of equipment, pipes, and pumps and execute mass-flow and energy-balance calculations.
• Support site visits to collect field data and verify designs.
• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and specification packages.
• Collaborate with vendors to research equipment, obtain quotes, and prepare bid tabs.
