Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Tiffin, Ohio is seeking a Project Engineer to drive CapEx projects from initiation to closure. You will lead multiple projects, coordinate with sales, engineering and operations, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships.

This role emphasizes formal project management, budgeting, and communication skills with a focus on continuous improvement and a balanced work-life culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; additional post education is preferred.
• Ideally 3–5 years of experience in a similar project engineering position.
• Experience managing CapEx projects in manufacturing or at an OEM.
• Experience overseeing project timelines and budgets.
• Experience reading blueprints/part drawings.
• Ability to forecast projects.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead up to 20 projects at a time at various stages.
• Communicate as the liaison between production and customers on the status of projects.
• Oversee budgets and manage timelines and project scopes.
• Forecast projects and communicate and document changes.
• Ensure that inspection and verification of equipment meets the scope of the customer project.
• Negotiate change orders, project terms, scheduling etc. with customers and operations.
• Update customers on the status of projects and hold them accountable to the project scope or educate them on additional costs of the project.
• Complete all project documentation and attend project meetings with sales and engineering.
• Oversee equipment installs and assist with oversight of final inspection.
• Represent the company in a professional manner that will foster and build client relationships.
• Other duties as directed by management.

Established original equipment manufacturer is hiring a Project Engineer to join their project management team. The Project Engineer will work within a team of project managers and operations professionals to complete multiple projects on time and within budget. Daily you will report to a Project Team Lead. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Manage and lead up to 20 projects at a time at various stages

REQUIREMENTS for the Project Engineer:

1. Minimum of a high school diploma; additional post education is preferred

2. Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a similar project engineering position

3. Experience managing CapEx projects in general manufacturing or at an OEM (original equipment manufacturer)

4. Experience overseeing project timelines and budgets

5. Experience reading blueprints/part drawings

6. Ability to forecast projects

7. Mechanical aptitude

8. Microsoft Office

Skills preferred but NOT required:

1. ERP experience

2. Skilled trades background

3. Working knowledge of PLCs

4. Fabrication or paint background
