Job Juncture is recruiting a Project Engineer for a leading original equipment manufacturer in Tiffin, Ohio. You will manage multiple CapEx projects from start to finish, coordinating with sales, engineering, and operations to hit schedule and budget.

You will be the primary liaison to customers, forecast project needs, review blueprints, and ensure equipment inspections align with scope. Excellent work-life balance and profit sharing accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; additional post education is preferred.
• Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a similar project engineering position.
• Experience managing CapEx projects in general manufacturing or at an OEM.
• Experience overseeing project timelines and budgets.
• Experience reading blueprints/part drawings.
• Ability to forecast projects.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead up to 20 projects at a time at various stages.
• Communicate as the liaison between production and customers on the status of projects.
• Oversee budgets and manage timelines and project scopes.
• Forecast projects and document changes.
• Ensure that inspection and verification of equipment meets the scope of the customer project.
• Negotiate change orders, project terms, scheduling etc. with customers and operations.
• Update customers on the status of projects and educate them on additional costs of the project.
• Complete all project documentation and attend project meetings with sales and engineering.
• Oversee equipment installs and assist with oversight of final inspection.
• Represent the company in a professional manner that will foster and build client relationships.

Established original equipment manufacturer is hiring a Project Engineer to join their project management team. The Project Engineer will work within a team of project managers and operations professionals to complete multiple projects on time and within budget. Daily you will report to a Project Team Lead. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Manage and lead up to 20 projects at a time at various stages
• Communicate as the liaison between production and customers on the status of projects
• Oversee budgets and manage timelines and project scopes
• Forecast projects and communicate and document changes
• Ensure that inspection and verification of equipment meets the scope of the customer project
• Negotiate change orders, project terms, scheduling etc. with customers and operations
• Update customers on the status of projects and hold them accountable to the project scope or educate them on additional costs of the project
• Complete all project documentation and attend project meetings with sales and engineering
• Oversee equipment installs and assist with oversight of final inspection
• Represent the company in a professional manner that will foster and build client relationships
• Other duties as directed by management

REQUIREMENTS for the Project Engineer:

1. Minimum of a high school diploma; additional post education is preferred

4. Experience overseeing project timelines and budgets

8. Microsoft Office

Skills preferred but NOT required:

1. ERP experience
2. Skilled trades background
3. Working knowledge of PLCs
4. Fabrication or paint background
