Job summary

Griffith Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for the Building Division to support our San Luis Obispo operations. You will provide technical input to ensure compliance with codes, drawings and specs, coordinate change orders, expedite materials, and assist in estimates and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience reading architectural and structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Maintain project controls including daily reports, cost coding and submittals.
• Review change orders and prepare cost and schedule analyses.
• Support project managers with planning, quality control and constructability reviews.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication with clients.
